Yahoo! Media Player
The media player on this site is the Yahoo! Media Player. It is a flash-based technology, it works in the browser, so you don't need to install any additional software. Except the flash plugin.
On the radio stations list page,
you should see a link with a
play button.
If you don't see these buttons or they don't work, then see the troubleshooting tips below.
Troubleshooting
- If you don't see
play buttons at all ... - Your browser is probably not supported. Try a newer one, for example Firefox.
- The
play buttons are not working ... - Most probably there is a problem with the flash plugin in your browser. Go to the media player website: http://mediaplayer.yahoo.com/ and check the demo play buttons.
- If the demo buttons worked... Then they should work on this site too. This can be a temporary problem with the radio stream you are trying to play. Try again later.
- If the demo buttons didn't work... You need to install the flash plugin in your browser.
- The
play buttons sometimes work sometimes don't ... - Yeah that happens. The media player is in beta status as of this writing. If you know of better solutions we'd appreciate if you let us know.
- Songs are played for a few seconds then get cut off ...
- That can happen when your internet connection bandwidth is not enough. That's tough luck.
